Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux has a new organization to serve industry needs : Suez Industrial Solutions
Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux has redesigned its organization to offer specialized solutions for customers in the industry and service sectors. The newly created division, Suez Industrial Solutions, will work with corporate customers on major multi-services projects.
Today, corporate projects already represent 41 % of Group revenues or EUR 14 billion.
Deregulation and the increasing use of outsourcing will continue to feed this market. In the next four years, Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux has set a goal of reaching at least 50% of its growth in industry services.
The Group already has an unmatched range of services and expertise in energy and environmental services (Water and Waste Services). Acquisitions such as Nalco in 1999 or the purchase of GTM’s service subsidiaries in 2000 have enriched this offering. Especially in the energy field, the Group can now provide integrated offerings that associate, within Tractebel, electricity and gas supply with the entire range of “beyond the meter” services.
Against this background, Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux has set up a cross-disciplinary organization spanning the entire Group, and operating at two levels:
- Each core business will have an integrated offering, with special entities and teams specifically designated for the industry ;
- A company shared by all Group divisions: Suez Industrial Solutions (SIS)
Suez Industrial Solutions will define the industrial customer strategy, establish a specific industry marketing plan, manage major industrial customer accounts and directly handle large multi-services projects. With the support of new industry-specific organizations operating worldwide in the Energy, Water and Waste Services networks, SIS will direct these units' activities.
Michel Bleitrach has been appointed Chairman of Suez Industrial Solutions, with Jacques Lambert as Chief Executive Officer. With this new organization, Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux intends to step up its development and strengthen its presence in the service of corporate customers.
