On June 5, Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux is launching its first international corporate communications campaign since its creation in June 1997. The Group's new signature, " Delivering the essentials of life," reflects the vocation and identity of Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux: a global services group focused on four businesses that, in meeting the fundamental needs of mankind, are essential to life: energy, water, waste services, and communications.
The campaign is based on six pictures taken from nature and illustrating the link between nature and Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux businesses:
- lightning: the world's greatest electricity producer
- the ant: carrying water where it is needed
- an island: screening, filtering, and recycling waste through its ecosystem each day
- the whale: communicating by emitting signals that carry for hundreds of kilometers
- the silkworm: creating an ideal industrial environment
- the beehive: a perfectly organized community
By the nature of its businesses, Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux is a committed and responsible actor in sustainable development, protecting the environment for the benefit of its customers.
The campaign will be run simultaneously in Europe, Asia, and the United States in the daily newspaper and magazine press, from June 5 through 29, 2000, and is mainly addressed to opinion leaders.
