Following negotiations with the Indonesian government, Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux has signed an agreement confirming the responsibility of its subsidiary PT GDS (Garuda Dipta Semesta) for the management and supply of water in West Jakarta.

According to the terms of this agreement Lyonnaise des Eaux, the trade name of Suez Lyonnaise des Eaux’s water division, will terminate its partnership with the Salim Group within PT GDS, the company in charge of the management. Initially, Lyonnaise des Eaux will hold 100% of PT GDS share capital, against 40% previously. At a later stage, Lyonnaise des Eaux’s client, DKI Jakarta, will take a minority interest in PT GDS with a place on the board of directors.
