Ondeo Industrial Solutions: over 90 contracts with €500M future revenues
Ondeo Industrial Solutions, a subsidiary of SUEZ Environment Industrial Services, today announced that after its first year of operation, the company has signed over 90 contracts that will generate future revenues of close to €500 million over the next ten years. Officially launched on January 1, 2002, Ondeo Industrial Solutions has won significant contracts in Europe and Asia by providing solutions that help industrial customers make optimum use of water.
“The investments we are making in creating this business have helped us sign a number of important long-term contracts with Aventis Pharma, Danone, ChevronTexaco and Shanghai Chemical Industry Park to name but a few”, said Catherine Ronge, Chief Operating Officer.
“Opportunities are rife as industrial customers increasingly turn to water specialists to improve their operational efficiency, competitiveness and meet increasingly stringent
environmental standards”.
Ondeo Industrial Solutions has recently been awarded several key contracts in France, Spain, Germany and Italy, including:
- The upgrade, operation and maintenance of the waste water treatment plant for Cogesal- Miko (Unilever group) in Saint Dizier, France
- A contract for the optimisation of a process water plant for Nueva Generadora del Sur, at their 800MW power plant in Algeciras, Spain
- A comprehensive services offer covering site operations supervision, consulting support for plant optimization, equipment and high purity spares supply, continuous control and maintenance for ultrapure and waste water treatment plants at Infineon Technologies, Dresden, Germany
- Complete water solutions for Bristol-Myers Squibb (BMS) at their wastewater treatment plant in Sermoneta, Italy
